Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing??
If Mon had kept the crusher/mill at Davyhurst on standby with a skeleton crew and continued to let Mt. Ida produce the ore they could have scheduled trucks to truck it to Davyhurst every month or two.
Ok so the costs would have been extravagant but surely some income is better than no income??
I too am out of a job...
