I'm "well into" my sixties and cannot remember any period of "normal" weather, or any that was considered so at the time. It was always bad. So bad in fact that they had to blame it on something, continually. That is the only "normal" thing we are witnessing now.
It's odd BB that you heap scorn on anything thats smacks of "blogosphere" but are happy to quote journalists continually. Where is the difference? From where I sit some bloggers are highly qualified to give an opinion. Journalists are soldiers of fortune however.
