    Wrong, there is no pollution component in pricing so it doesn't get passed on to consumers.

    That's why electricity is ridiculouly cheap. In Melbourne you can run an oversize tv for a year fro You can run an oversize tv 6 hours a day for a year for $75. In New York for example it would cost nearly 50% more. One reason - brown coal.

    "it will stuff our economy"

    Hasn't had that effect in Europe and by the time you factor in the new green jobs it probably won't have that great an impact. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it and it's going to happen so you had better get used to the idea.
