Actually running a tv was your argument, it is going to cost a whole lot more to run absolutely everything, and it is not going to make one bit of difference to the climate even if you accept that CO2 is the problem.

Can anyone ever remember a time in history where people were so brainwashed that they would argue for a pointless tax? Argue for a cleaner environment, sure that makes sense, but to pay more for nothing short of crazy.

But then it seems that an ETS has less to do with the environment and more to do with setting up a new world governing body to dictate on where our money goes.
