What a brain! And a dignified, polite true gentleman - with wit!!

At last some truths were spoken. Professor (Economics) Denniss could only revert to party politcial besmirching. (He is a former stratgeic adviser to Bob Brown!)

To those who sneer at his appearance as part of their ignorant attempts to demean Monckton, I'd again remind them that he suffers a serious eye disease - which induces retraction of the eyelids. Hardly satire material.

A giant intellect. Pity so many ears are closed.

He had to answer many trite, innocuous, generic questions.
But generally, he engendered much respect.

And he had the courage to say what many of us think - exactly what, as he related today, his late close friend, the apolitical founder of Greenpeace, ended up leaving the movement because he said the whole Green machine had been hijacked by Marxists and Communists, as a means of furthering their aims to bring down the West.

Of course, out come the nasty personal digs! If they have no argument, the attack the man.

Monckton handled the perpetrators beautifully.

Most amazingly of all, Monckton won the debate based on the strength of the applause. suprisingly,much of which came from the media present.
