Fine -My opinion of Gillard is tempered by the carbon tax lie, not so much by a politician lying as it seems endemic, but more by the appalling lack of judgement in making such a statement.
My opinion of Gillard is not based on one policy. My voting intentions are not determined on the performance of one person or another.
Gillard was backed and backed herself into a corner where she basically had one course of action and that was to take a personal hit by going back on her word.
The situation changed and so did her position at great personal cost, that , in isolation, is admirable.
