Why are the majority of scientists all in favour of climate action??
Public get fuzzy warm feeling about being 'green'
Fed by unbalanced media exposure re natural disasters corporate disasters and wild weather.
Scientists get grants to produce papers on climate solutions/causes etc. By perpetuating the 'story' but without irrefutable evidence more research needed, leads to more research grants.
Does anybody really believe that more funding from 'chosen organisations with vested interests' would give further grants to those producing papers that disagreed with the 'vested interests'.
Yet to see conclusive evidence that the climate will be altered by do gooders.
Yet in the meantime we get a tax that makes us less competitive and will make little difference to climate.
Most people struggle to turn lights and appliances off, waste etc. Surely we should try and be more efficient personally before we allow govt to dictate these things to us.
Strikes me that environmnetal science and economics are similar bedfellows. Lots of different analysis produces varying results and then gets revised time and again.
