Sheesh we are a slow lot this country...he is not telling the truth he is telling the science.....the real reproducable science, not the closed loop consensus science that has no weitght above the ideological or the imaginary.
Easy analogy, helicobactor pylori is the bacteria that causes ulcers, it took reproducible science to prove this and the scientist in exasperation conducted the experiment on himself in an effort to beat the powerful and entrained pseudo scientific 'opinion' (consensus).....for years before medical consensus science blocked all further understands that did not already conform to their chosen opinion and money flow on stomach ulcers.
Science through history is littered with examples where it takes far more than real science to change opinionated 'consensus' (pseudoscience).
Today popular climate science is still identical in this behavior.
