Yes it is also littered with example of real science being suppressed by powerful political interests.
This is not a matter of people within the science community starting a movement to question the consensus it people outside the science community trying to actively sway public opinion for pure political motives.
They can't win by attacking the science as it is so solid so they have instead attacked the whole science community , trying to undermine our belief in trusted scientific bodies such as NASA and the CSRIO.
The pseudoscience is coming from the Monktons , Bolts and Jones of this world , real scientists are being bullied and denigrated publicly and are being challenged to debate with people who are not science experts but debating experts.
This is a misinformation campaign that the tobacco industry would be proud of and strangely enough have used alot of people from that industry to wage this campaign.
