Picked Mrs. h00ts up from Cairns airport yesterday and stayed the night at the Casino - its like we are living in a parallel universe up here - apart from checking in with QR app there wasn't a mask in sight - made my donation at the blackjack tables ( as usual ) full seating 7 players at each table laughing and making merry like covid doesn't exist.
Conversely it was my elderly Aunts birthday in Melbourne and all she was allowed was to meet up with 2 people in a park she got to see one of her sons and his wife but no grandchildren or friends to blow out a birthday cake
