SPI Futures traded in a 40 point range Friday night, with a high of 5747, low of 5707 and a close of 5743 on Saturday morning, up 15 point, on lowish volume (again) of 11,155 contracts. Based on that range my pivot point for today is 5732, with resistance lines at 5772, 5762, 5757, 5752, 5748 and 5742, and support lines at 5722, 5717, 5712, 5708, 5702 and 5692. No gaps left from Friday, nothing above, but plenty below from previous days. Not much of a lead from overseas, with the DOW down .02 pct, SNP down .01 pct and Canada (resource driven) up .24 pct. The VIX was down 6.72 pct to 18.19, bucking the inverse correlation - again. Complacency or Happy Day's ? Humm..
