Monday 18 Feb - Diamond Life Day

Goodbye weekend warriors, hello Monday. SPI Futures traded in a 55 point range Friday night, with a high of 6067, low of 6012 and a close on Saturday morning of 6066, one point off the top, up 53 points on low volume of 8400 contracts - note the low volume bit.  Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below. Reading the news and seeing the US markets results on Saturday made me smile and wonder if I was still dreaming, but it is what it is. DOW up 1.74 pct, SNP up 1.09 pct and Canada (resource driven) up .91 pct. VIX down 8.08 pct to 14.91 - under the 15 handle.. nice - what National Emergency ?. Oh yeah, US-China trade 'optimism'. No gaps above and gaps below at 6032 and 6029 from Friday night. So, did SPI do all the work Friday night, indicating XJO to be up .76 pct to 6112, or is there more to come ? We shall see.



On this day in 2013, $50 million worth of diamonds were stolen in an armed robbery at Brussels Airport, Belgium - now those guy's must have received a large margin call. Have a nice day.
