Ahh the Bluff... did that too but not a few days before any tree climb. I can understand not being able to walk after it. Those "steps" all unevenly spaced out was a shocking climb. Coming down I was in more of a hop, skip jump and slide motions.
The tree climb isn't as scary as one thinks, but then I suppose if your scared of heights its a different story. Only 1 bit of advise is just don't look down.
