If Australia introduces a carbon 'tax' will the Australian government re-introduce import tariffs for countries that don’t have a carbon tax provision?
Will the free trade agreements be wiped out in lieu of a carbon tax? Or were they created because of the possibility of the above?
Having not read the detail it can only be inflationary for Aus no matter which way you look at it imo.
Any thoughts out there? Or I am more naïve than I thought I was . LOL
