SPI Futures traded in a 49 point range Friday night, with a high of 5714, low of 5665 and a close on Saturday morning of 5666, one point off the low, down 37 points, on low volume of 8263 contracts. Based on that range, my resistance lines are 5731, 5718, 5712, 5706, 5700, 5694, the pivot point is 5682 and support lines are 5633, 5645, 5651, 5657, 5663, and 5669. Gaps on the high side from Friday night at 5703 (something about that level as there was a previous one at 5704), 5696 and 5684 and on the low side at 5662 from a previous day. DOW down .73 pct, SNP down .66 pct and Canada (resource driven) down .54 pct. VIX up 2.74 pct to 21.37. Monday lift off, or a continuation of last week ? I think the upper gaps have a shot, but as usual, watch the open of US Futures in half an hour.
On this day in 1962, a young Tina Turner married Ike Turner. Not sure about Ike, but Tina... 'You're simply the best'. Have a nice day.
