If you try and trade Lynas by just looking at the total buy and sell volume you will get wacked. The visible depth volume is way less than the traded volume as well.
Most of the big traders are fiddling around at the market price and only place "visible" orders way back in the queues to mislead you.
What I will be watching for is a change in the trading patterns and unusual volumes before the announcement.
