Well Monday the 27th approaches, fingers crossed the muppets that are (currently) running the country with their 15 year old advisers will come to their senses and there will be some sort of resolution to the current environment. The immediate situation has caused total chaos for all concerned and sadly the government missed the target with the producers. Had it gone after the retailers (as it should’ve) none of this pain would’ve been necessary for either investors or gas consumers (out of contract). Let’s hope the three (main) stooges, who in December told us all “this is the end of coal and gas in Australia” (talk about fantasy) but now admit “gas will be a part of our future”, as will coal, fall on their sword and we can move on to more prosperous times. Oh and please don’t get me started on the “greens” or the “teals” as clearly these poor dears believe in unicorns, great ideas that physically can’t and don’t work. Just my thoughts.
