Yet another Monday passes us by and still no announcement from this extremely clever government. They are now weeks behind their own sunset date (27/2/23) with clarity for the industry, but that’s ok they appear to think. Our sector and sp sinks even further, in fact two new 52 week lows already set today for Comet! What an investment.
As much as I dislike watching our share price destruction I feel for intensive gas users who are being charged $30-$40 a gig from RETAILERS not suppliers. It must be debilitating for these companies and the government continues to stumble around in the dark as none of this has any detrimental effect on them. Perhaps before entering into politics it should be mandated that all politicians need to be employed in either public or private companies to understand what actually happens in the real world, like the cost of doing business and profit/loss. Then we might see tangible policies and timelines that are adhered too instead of the current situation.
