SPI Futures traded in a 52 point range Friday night, with a high of 6398, low of 6346, and a close on Saturday morning of 6395, up 41 point, on low volume of 9,071 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels for today are below. Gaps up at 6400 from a previous day and 6397 from Friday night and down at 6394, 6391, 6388, 6385 and 6357 from Friday night and 6326 from Friday day.

Options expiry Friday, a buy-the-dip mindset and German "Stimulus Optimism" (Yeah, they're hurting too) saw the DOW up 1.20 pct, SNP up 1.44 pct and Canada (resource driven) up less, at .86 pct. VIX down 12.80 pct. Probably a gap up at the open in-line with the ES which just popped at their open 5 minutes ago, but of course, they left one of those pesky opening gaps to fill. Have a nice day.

Today in 1955, WINS radio in New York City, announced it will not play "copy" white cover versions of R&B songs that merely duplicated the originals. So, for example, DJs must play Fats Domino's  "Ain't It A Shame," not Pat Boone's version. Pat Boone was quoted as say "Now, ain't that a shame", while Fat's probably said "Shame on you"..
