Hoots, if it was loan stock buying, then that is pretty much insider trading, thinking they knew the result and the trustees buying. Seems to be a stupid thing to do. I agree with a previous poster that the chinese had been quietly trying to get rid of WM, instead of the big ugly scene we eventually got.
