That's right Dratoz: US isn't going to buckle like a tower of cards. housing will bounce back, debt will evaporate, balance of payments will spontaneously stabilize. unless, that is, perhaps, the model for reading the tea leaves happpens to be Japan, where the Nikkei was around 40,000 15 years back, compared to 13,000 today. depending on which scenario you favour, the choice is between gold/silver and lettuce.
