Monday July 1 - Judgement day

SPI Futures traded in a 32 point range Friday night, with a high of 6589, low of 6557, and a close on Saturday morning at 6577, up 18 point on low volume 7,708 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below. Gaps from Friday night up at 6585 and 6587 and down at 6558. Gaps on the upside from previous days at 6605, 6621, 6632 and 6633, then first one down is 6541. G20 meeting over, with the US and China seeming to have agreed to talk more regarding the tariff situation, so no verbal pyrotechnics, no new threats, but no real outcome, just more of the same, but no new tariffs - for now anyway. I bet the meeting would have been more lively if the 39kg of cocaine found on the Brazilian plane had made it's way to the G20. Mister Trump saying "Hello" to Mister Kim at the DMZ. Probably a nice gap up at this morning's open, and what the ES does at their open at 8 am will determine how big. I'm guessing into the 6605 gap zone. What happened Friday night doesn't really matter, it was all about the weekend. Have a nice day.



Today in 1991, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" directed by James Cameron, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong premiered at Century City, California. The film was the highest-grossing of 1991, and of Schwarzenegger's career.  He got to say some great lines too, like "Hasta la vista, baby", "I'll be back" and "I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle" Mister Trump the Tariff Man (T2) probably used one at his meeting with Mister Kim at the DMZ.. Let me guess.. "I'll be back.."
