Mate, unwinding of the carry trade is BAD for all investments.
Don't forget - the yen was bought to PAY for equities. Without the carry trade, equities will get SOLD OFF as the Yen becomes less attractive for borrowing.
ie: Unwinding of the Yen carry trade = reduced liquidity.
