Monday March 18 - Contract expiration week

SPI Futures traded in a 37 point range Friday night, with a high of 6206. low of 6169 and a close on Saturday morning at the top of the range, at 6206, up 35 points on better than lately volume of 15,983 contracts. June expiration closed at 6196. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below. Five gaps down from Friday night at 6193, 6187, 6183, 6181 and 6172. Two outstanding gaps from previous days up at 6271 and 6285.

DOW up .54 pct, SNP up .50 pct and Canada (resource driven) up less, at .33 pct. VIX down 4.59 pct to 12.88.



Last 3 trading days for March contract expiration, as she flatlines shortly after the open this coming Thursday and then expires.  Have a nice day. Condolences to the people of Christchurch - such a terrible thing.
