    Makes you wonder where all this goes with effectively zero interest rates and so much debt not just acquired, but also required year in year out to just keep the economy ticking.

    For interest rates to rise too much would just be beyond devastation for the economy in general.

    Maybe negative interest rates become the norm but it sort of hurts the head figuring out how it would work. But it must be something that is being looked at in many finance companies. Let's face it, in the end they only need to be charging you more for the money than what they are paying to turn a profit, or, in the case of negative rates, being payed more by their financier than what they are paying you to take the loan.

    And as absurd as it sounds to go out and earn money and then pay someone to borrow it, it's only half absurd if you get to create the money out of thin air via printing presses or other derivative means.

    Makes juggling the SPI seem easy.

    Thanks for your regular summations and commentary on the market. Always find it interesting.
