Mate, I was there and asked RM specifically if he knew of any other companies that had applied. He said he didn't know of anyone, his statement was that he expected SMM would apply. Never did anyone say they HAD.
They fought hard over many years, of course they will re-apply for it. They were previously awarded it, but with a huge spotlight on it, the work bank involvement in the mine department and increased transparency will they get it again in contravention of the 3 tenements rule .... not likely in my view.
To commit legal etc resources to reapply for a company like SMM is not as big of a deal as you may think. Avq's application was in the same day of the CoA judgement with every thing else that was going on and we are a fraction of their size.
