Forget your SUPER PRODIGIOUS fluidized bed drying and your idgcc tech then compare desal water prices to commercial reclamation prices.
Coldry( 21/24 Mj/tonne) is cheap to produce, simple to manufacture...and the by product ?
demineralized water...costing less than a cent/kilolitre (opex)....
Desalinated water is over 3 bux a kilolitre to produce.
Not that very long ago the Vic govt were preparing to build a pipeline from Melb to Latrobe Valley for the express purposes of supplying the valley with recycled potable water from treatment plants near Hastings and closer, to keep the generators running, the paper mills milling, and the briquette factories squeezing.
Now....pretty much...that same proposed pipeline will flow the other way, supplying Melbourne with Desalinated water, and from within fairway distance of the ''valley''and it's proposed Coldry manufacturing plant sight.....Very cheap to annex.
100 million tonnes of Coldry p/a returns just in royalties, half a billion dollars to the coy (plus free carry spv profits)...but the by product.... is 100 million tonnes ( 100,000 million kilolitres...enough to supply how many homes using 200 kilolitres per annum ? )... of distilled water, that can be sold into the water grid.......as a by product !
Just in commercial terms;
( dismissing the E credit benefits which is yet another series of revenue potentials)
Bituminous coal (around 20+Mj/tonne) costs (depending on hedging) anywhere between 5 and 25 times as much as Coldry, for the same amount of energy...and 30 to 50% less emissions...or as much as 250% less C emissions alone, than lignite.
This really is a paradigm shift technology...
Day traders couldn't possibly fully comprehend what they are trading atm.....just that it's a good trade.

It's taken decades to get from CSIRO theory to IP in principal.
With IP proven commercial ( se ARUP abstract in asx anns ), all that is required for Sales milestone is asx IP security anns ( 72 ish hours away imo)
