Hi all. This is the ASX thread so strictly no 'political agenda' should be made here. Nevertheless, the market is going to make some big moves on Monday depending on who gets voted in tonight. What is everyone thinking for monday's trading, and do you have any stocks in mind for a bit of a trade (long or short)?
If the liberals get up, I'm looking at the magnetite and pocket rocket iron ore companies for a long. TLS will be rocked a fair bit going exdivi and with the NBN therefore going down the gurgler.
If the labour party get up, the mining houses will be rocked and good luck to those with investments in the iron ore producers. Recall that the tax has alot of uncertainty hanging over those iron ore projects.
