Okay, I've satisfied myself what will happen tonight and am sure the price action will fit into one of these 3 scenarios:
Scenario 1 - quiet open and choppy trading within about 10 pt range to close near unchanged (consolidation of last night's wide range down), or
Scenario 2 - open down, hit 883 in the first hour or two, and bounce to close near unchanged (worst case), or
Scenario 3 - something other than scenarios 1 and 2 :)
883 is obvious support and its unlikely (I think a bit more than "unlikely" but not quite "highly unlikely") that we'll go straight through it on the first test so soon after the high. If we do, that would be ominous. But for now, the same traders that saw 956 as a sell would see 883 as a buy imho all else being equal.
