Yes this is true. This will bring the cost of be ton down. But the funding question is still worrying.
With China out of the picture to fund this. Europe now is going to be in the brink of OMG.

That is alot of money and to service the loan .... I am hearing figure of 4.5 billion to get this running.
Say 10% interested(That not rated a junk bond) for 4 years while it building.
that means before a shovel has hit the ground ... the mine will be serving a loan of 7 Billion dollars in debt.
@ current price of iron ore .. with 700 million to service the loan. Currently climate ....
