You would not expect the majority of shareholders to have been highly levereged to NKP (using margin lending) especially after what they have gone through the past 2 years. Sure there will be some, but I suspect their margin LVR would have been reduced over time where it may not have much of an impact.
I originally purchase some on margin but at the moment the LVR is only like 5-6% on the NKP parcel, therefore reducing to 0 makes no difference (in my particular case). Especially if you implement sound risk management principles with your portfolio. But sure I can't speak for others.
So in concluding I would be very very suprised if this comes into play tomorrow in any significant way. And it would be unfortunate if someone had to be forced to exit at these low prices. You would think the prudent thing to do, would be to top up the loan with the difference. But that is what I would do if I was in that position others will have to assess their own circumstances.
