    That is a very impressive charting analyses, Cwlie, very thorough.

    Adding my 2 cents worth....the Stochastic, as you say is a worry, most definitely in the over-bought range, and this stock doesn't tend to linger there for weeks.

    The MACD has gone, in one week, from a sell signal to a buy, and being so high above the zero line not much danger there. Divergence is also widening.

    The Parabolic Sar still says its a buy.

    There've been two breakouts through the top bollinger band, so I guess the next time we see a high back on ths indise we should look for a pullback.

    I'm using a 90 day moving average, which smooths the price to $40.80, which the short term trend lines have well and truly crossed up, of course.

    The stock is bouyed by positive sentiment. I think we saw evidence of this today where despite softer metals prices, BHP went up.

    High oil prices to a point will underpin the price, but there some pundits, while predicting a continuing upward spiral, expect them to come down to realistic levels. There will be a threshold where the damage to the global economy will outweigh benefits to producers' SP.
