NZ Micro....
From yesterday's announcement
Distributions
In light of the debt refinancings that need to be completed over the next 12 months, CER will focus on extending the maturity profile of its debt facilities and where possible utilise excess cash to reduce debt.
As a result, CER will not provide distribution guidance at this time.
So, unless asset sales are on the immediate horizon, distributions will not be given for AT LEAST 12 months....IMO it will be longer than that.
That said, CER does have a future....CNP is now owned by the banks, fullstop, so shareholders in CNP have all but lost their capital...but there is some light at the end of the tunnel for CER. Saying that, that won't be for some time yet. In the meanwhile, the sellers will come, and I doubt that there will as many investors lining up at this time.
The end result?? Downward pressure on the shareprice.
IMO it seems inevitable that CER will see 6-7 cents again over the next few months.....there are just too many other high yielding opportunities out there at the moment for serious investors to concern themselves with CER at this point.
Maybe in eight-twelve months from now, some interest may return.
