Agree that this a bit of sinophobia. The market will need injections to keep rising however to allow China to purchase companies at bargain bin prices would almost feel like rewarding them for the recession caused by Covid-19.
Surely there also needs to be some policies in place to stop any companies from buying out the market, Chinese or not. Competition is good, it is not when there are only 1 or 2 players controlling the market.
