I went to the kuntsmusseum in Basel a few years ago. They have a whole room devoted to his work. I must have spent a couple of hours just in that room. I was going to go to the gallery for about 3-4 hrs. Got there at 9.am and left just after 6.00pm. Did pop out for about half an hour to have a coffee and something to eat at lunch time. I could never understand what all the fuss was about Blue Poles and Pollock, until I saw a number of his works at the same gallery. He shared a room with a Portuguese artist, De Souza. Truly brilliant artist. I take back every not so flattering comment I ever made about his work.
I'm going To Canada & Alaska in 2024, but plan on going back to Europe in 2025. Want to visit Moet's garden, but also go to Arles to see where Vincent Van Gogh painted so many of his masterpieces.
I hope your treatment is working well and you get to go on your trip. I have a very dear friend battling the same, she is in stage 4, and unfortunately not doing very well.
Take care
