That is such a sad story, unfortunately the 'grandfather' clearly had no empathy...no doubt rotting in hell now.
Once a person has enough money to feel secure - to keep a roof over their head, to be able to pay basic bills and have some left over for 'extra's', then they should start to take the journey within, if they wish to find true happiness.
