Yeah it has been a long hard road...I am cautiously optimistic that the project will go ahead. The main reason that I see it going ahead is for infrastructure build (port and rail). The flow on benefits to the country and region as it opens up the area will be substantial. The fat lady (who is now very thin because she has waited for so long on the sidelines) has warmed her voice up a couple of times but not made an entrance.
