This type of lending is very high on the risk spectrum, lenders need to be compensated for these risks aswell as the administration and monitoring as i imagine these types of deals individually would be quite small. There are exeptions but people in this situation need to live within their means to ensure they do not exhaust other "mainstream" borrowing options.
