    the south / west of W.A. is a known hydrocarbon province with a large untapped reserve of coal and gas.

    the Whicher Range near Busselton sits on an estimated 4 trillion cf gas , in saying that it sits on a tightly compacted reservoir.

    ERM will spend $1M on preliminary work but should they encounter any gas they will ramp up their spending dramatically.
