Fully agree the lowest paid needed a few extra $$$. Excuse me if that was not stated. That everyone not on the lowest wages also saw award wages increase is my issue!
The lowest paid peg on the $$$$ ladder is still exactly at the bottom of the heap as well of course! My own payroll cost went up over the 5.5%- None of my staff are on or even close to minimum wages. It also makes state tax issues for businesses close to payroll tax thresholds.
Increased cost for businesses are passed on to you. It was and always will be inflationary.
