I feel I should expand on my previous post and say how I agree with the "experts " way of thinking, and to add that a helping hand from people here in Australia will go a long way to assisting those who are displaced.
Firstly, to run the show and be a general pain in the backside and sort out the red tape, the greens party with Milne and SHY would have to go to the Middle East, leading from the front, followed by many thousand repatriated Middle eastern brothers and sisters to re build, and once finished they can stay behind and maintain a life style that they seem to be happy with.
Surely this donation from Australia would be more acceptable to the wider world community, rather than transporting refugees thousands of miles from their domicile, plus I'm sure the majority of Australians would be more agreeable to this solution.
