Yes, Kala are the key element here. The expectation is that Kala will have no problems in recreating the results from the trial using the production model of their piece of kit (pok).
Their backers will want TLOU to optimise current gas flows and drill some more wells a.s.a.p. for the 5 additional pok on order.
We await news of how Kala are going to fund their data centre business but we know their fall-back is to use the TX lines to Serowe.
I cannot believe that BPC will agree to pay Kala and TLOU independently for their power up one TX line. So TLOU would owe Kala some of their PPA payments during those periods. Let's hope Kala earn more from their Data Centre and do not need the PPA.
It gets complicated because BPC will be paying for the electricity at a higher rate to repay TLOU for their TX line outlay. I am dubious whether Kala are entitled to the full amount because TLOU funded the lines, not Kala.
Perhaps BPC will entertain the idea of two accounts after all? I suppose two meters at Lesedi can be installed to show how much power each company contributes.
Current pseudo L2 tables look wonderful. As the Kala news gets closer those 3m @ up to 3.5c will be revised upwards I reckon.
