Monfries was OK two or three years ago. He wanted a mid field role but the coaches said no. Front runner who is no great loss IMO.

He was our first draft selection at number 14 in 2004.

Other first draft selections at Windy Hill include

    2000 - James Davies at 17
    2001 - Shane Harvey at 18
    2002 - Jason Laycock at 10
    2003 - Kepler Bradley at 6
    2004 - Angus Monfires at 14
2005 - Patrick Ryder at 7 (a good one, maybe)
    2006 - Scott Gumbelton at 2
    2007 - David Myers at 6
2008 - Michael Hurley at 5 (will be a superstar)
    2009 - Jake Melksham at 10
2010 - Dyson Heppel at 8 (can play)
    2011 - Elliot Kavangh at 19
2012 - Joe Daniher at 10 (Father son rule)

Not too many guns amongst them but the guns generally go in the first 6 or so picks.
