Here's something interesting......is a BOOM around the corner.......Forget the Chart of the DOW,I've got this straight from the horse's mouth.....two of the DOW's strongest components.
From General Electrics 3rd quarter report:-
“We are pleased to deliver our sixth consecutive quarter of double-digit operating earnings growth in a volatile macro environment,” GE Chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt said. “We improved earnings, achieved solid double-digit infrastructure order growth, executed on our balanced capital allocation plan and maintained a strong balance sheet. We ended the quarter with a record high order backlog of $191 billion and we remain confident in our fullyear 2011 operating framework.
GE’s Industrial segments experienced double-digit revenue growth both domestically and internationally with international revenues up 25% driven by strong double-digit growth in Brazil, Russia, China,India, Canada, Mexico and the Middle East.
And from Caterpiller's 3rd quarter:-
“I am pleased with how we’re performing and optimistic about demand for our products, and that is why we are moving forward with needed investment in our business to support our long-term growth opportunities,” said Caterpillar Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Doug Oberhelman. “This was the best quarter for sales in our history, and our order backlog is at an all-time high"
