    Johnaus,

When I talk about tax, I am suggesting governments should tax the rich and the super profits many large companies make... here and OS. Maybe not a popular stance on a stock traders forum which may be more conservative /overall than my thinking.

Large companies are very good at taking the profits and then firing and pulling spending when times are tuff. They take out more than they help when supported by tax rates that cheap for them. Did the banks here, BHP, Apple etc every take any overall losses when the rest of us have had to burden the effects of slowing growth globally? I had a rant the other day about how these companies need the general population to be healthy and infrastructure to flourish and that it should be taxed in return for that. Social fabric needs to be paid for by those that profit the most from it.

Sorry if I rant. I only day trade so happy to see volatility for personal reasons, but overall I am not happy with its wider implications.
