    Stocktoe. You have your beliefs and reasons for them no doubt. Britain did that in the 70's and vast amounts of captial went overseas. They dropped their income tax rates back.

    Higher taxes means exporting wealth and jobs. The effects are immediate and disastrous for business and therefore the general communitiy - as a whole - who depend on them. Excepting public servants who's main priority seems to be gay marraige and land rights.

    As far as the U.S. debt goes - if Johnaus is still around - it's like the government borrowing from itself isn't it. Not much is borrowed from overseas.
