if they can maintain the 20 cent yield, then this will cover your cost of capital or opportunity cost until this whole property saga plays out, which could be anything from 5 months to 5 years.
you would have to assume the worse is priced in, some of the property sales by centro and Rubicon suggest its not too bad out there and the pension funds would love some hard assets that are A grade.
i am suprised someone like macquarie do not consider GPT etc - carve it up and turn it into a fee feast. saying that they would be too frightened of the market reaction.
