Sorry, I forgot to mention the flip side which made our decision very difficult. Our son can write the alphabet in order A-Z,can count to and write up to 1000+ etc etc ( not because of Montessori ) so we are concerned that his first few years in a normal school,kindy and pre primary,academically not socially may be a bit wasted.Montessori students learn to their level of ability not their age.Does anyone know what level they are taught to in kindy and preprimary these days?
