While Google is threat for not only this one but many other businesses. One of the key points I would like to add is that ISD is one of just 28 companies , if I recall that are authorised to provide data feeds from FB. Considering FB and Google compete for the same dollars . I dot envisage Google getting the same access. At the end of the day, as @thunderhead said they would just buy the company if that is the direction they want to take . Why reinvent the wheel ?
At its core, Google is an advertising company while Isentia is a data analytics company. Similar case with Google Maps - for general consumers and Nearmap - visual data analytics for business users who need that extra which Google can't provide.
