Monthly chart

The following chart shows monthly information for the NST share price this year with corresponding figures for the All Ords, $Aust exchange rate, Gold in US$s, and finally Gold converted into $Aust.

I have also recorded the percentage movement for the low figure in each column relative to the high for that column.

As at 15th. October we are sitting on a low for the All Ords, a low for $Aust and a low for Gold in US$s.

It is possible that say a hike in the US Gold price of say $100 would give the NST share price a good nudge, however, the figures also indicate that Market Sentiment is having an unwarranted heavy impact on the SP of NST.

There was a welcome jump in the POG today, and I noticed that it just went to US$1242 (ie. A$1425), but still well short of the high figures of 15 March '14.

What is clearly needed is for a general lift in both market sentiment and the POG, and a positive quarterly production report from NST (should surface before end of this month). My apologies for the quality/format of the chart below!!
